Chairman’s Message
Since 2010, the Sevak Project has utilized the United States Navy corpsman model to improve access to healthcare, employing individuals similar to medical assistants or health coaches. The selected individuals are trained and supported by the staff of Baroda Medical College in implementing education, screening and healthcare tracking programs. The Sevak Project is now in over 100 villages across four states of India, and has now expanded to twelve villages in Guyana in South America.
